Who this is for

Maintenance Technicians and Field Supervisors.

Before you start

  • Identify the asset requiring maintenance
  • Confirm you have the necessary parts and tools

Execution Workflow

  1. Create a Work Order and assign a priority (Low, Medium, High, Emergency).
  2. Link the Work Order to the correct Asset from the registry.
  3. Assign an owner or a team to the task.
  4. Record execution steps, including parts consumed and labor hours.
  5. Attach evidence (photos, readings) directly to the order.
  6. Change status to "Closed" to post the history to the asset ledger.

What to check next

  • Verify the work order cost summary
  • Check the updated asset history

Common mistakes

  • Closing orders without attaching required completion evidence
  • Forgetting to record labor hours for accurate MTTR reporting
