Import your first asset register

Who this is for

Administrators and Operational Supervisors.

Before you start

• Download the FLUXO Asset Import Template (CSV/Excel)
• Ensure every asset has a unique identifier (Asset Code)
• Identify the hierarchy levels (Site > System > Asset)

Import Workflow

1. Navigate to the Assets module.
2. Click the "Import" action in the top-right corner.
3. Upload your prepared CSV or Excel file.
4. Map your file columns to FLUXO asset fields (Name, Code, Criticality, etc.).
5. Run the validation check to identify errors or missing data.
6. Confirm and process the import to populate the registry.

What to check next

• Verify the imported assets in the Hierarchy View
• Review criticality assignments for accuracy
• Check that assets are correctly linked to their parent locations

Common mistakes

• Uploading duplicate Asset Codes
• Importing assets into the wrong Site scope
• Using inconsistent naming conventions for locations
